One of my favorite pieces: Stripsody by Cathy Berberian! Classical music…wish it was always at least this much too much
UTOMJORDISKA at the festival Baroque Women
A concert that scenically portrays the contemporary theme of internet trolling directed toward women. This is juxtaposed with artistic expression of the Baroque period created by an oppressed group: female composers. Featuring: Amanda Flodin, Per T Buhre, Elisabeth Holmertz, Dohyo Sol, Ingrid Andersson, Johannes Lundberg, Harald Svensson, Michele Collins and Siri Landgren.
Listen to this gorgeous piece Lasciate mi qui solo by Francesca Caccini, recorded in January 2016
